A dataset built from real people, over time.
Elytix exists to close a gap in health research: most datasets are shallow, short-term, or drawn from narrow populations. We are building something different — a large, diverse, longitudinal dataset built from real people, tracked over time, with their full knowledge and consent.
We do this by employing Research Associates who complete a short monthly biometric scan — under five minutes a month — in exchange for compensation and access to our group health plan.

The Technology
At the center of it is a technology most people have never seen used this way: remote photoplethysmography, or rPPG. It is the same optical sensing principle already inside the fitness tracker or smartwatch millions of people wear every day — except here, it works from a face, in under a minute, with nothing to strap on.
No facial recognition.
No identity matching.
The scan reads subtle color changes using your device’s camera to extract biometric signal — it does not create or store anything that identifies who you are.
